Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa | Coral Coast | Fiji

Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa is a 3.5-star resort hotel on Fiji’s Coral Coast, only 60 minutes' drive from Nadi. The resort offers traditional Fijian-style accommodations and great leisure facilities directly on the beach. There is free WiFi for one device per room.
Accommodations is in traditional bures (bungalows) in the gardens or with views of the sea. There are also a number of oceanfront villas. All of the spacious accommodations has been decorated in a contemporary style, many with a balcony or a unique indoor/outdoor bathroom.
Leisure facilities include a 100 feet swimming pool, kids’ splash pool and a spa. Snorkeling, diving and surfing can all be arranged locally. There is also a kids’ club offering many activities, free for children aged 5 or over.
Breakfast is included in the room rate at the Hideaway Resort and is served buffet style each morning. The hotel’s restaurant serves a great selection of international food, including many local dishes and fresh seafood.

What was the highlight of Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa

Wonderful and if we could provide a rating of 11/10 we would.

Although the property could do with some TLC, the staff were amazing and so, so friendly. The entertainment was very good, the poolside activities were fantastic and so much fun. The standard of food was very high although the coffee hut was a bit hit and miss depending on who was making the coffee. The vila we stayed in was excellent. We loved the whole experience and couldn't get enough of the Sun Dance. See you all again soon

Minor issue, but please raise the quality of the coffee shop coffee.

Perfect for what our needs were.

This is our 3rd time here and the food is always lovely. There is a good variety to cater for every ones tastes. The staff are always super friendly and several recognised us and greeted us with hugs. The rooms are always clean and very relaxing. The nightly entertainment from the local villages was always good and New Years eve fireworks on the beach were amazing.

Service sometimes could have been a bit faster but we were on Fiji Time so it didn't really matter.

Hideaway Fun

The staff are the biggest asset of the Fiji Hideaway. Everyone makes an effort to ensure you feel at home. The resort is very family oriented with lots of free activities run throughout the day. The evening entertainment is a highlight for my family. The snorkelling, available during high tide, is good too, not much coral but lots of interesting fish to view. There is a real fun, happy vibe at the Hideaway which keeps us coming back. (This was our 4th visit!)

The resort is in need of maintenance and while I can see some improvements since our last stay 2 years ago it is an older resort and has ongoing maintenance needs that need addressing - the pool needs a good clean, there were lots of ants in our bathroom, broken chairs in the lobby, dirty sun lounges etc. Lots of little things that didn't ruin our stay but effect the overall impression of many who stay here. The lack of an adults only pool is the biggest drawback for me.

Definately go back again,.

OMG best Xmas ever. We were spoilt all day. Surprised us with a xmas hamper, home made goodies left on our patio (everyone got one each). Very friendly people, activities all day and all nite. Food was delicious even for our little people under 5s. They think they are going back again for another holiday.

Very hot in the eating areas. Not enough fans to keep us cool. That's all. Everything was as we expected.

You get what you pay for ..

Buffet breakfast was great

Tied resort which needs maintenance. Some of the staff were very unfriendly. One staff member got drunk and entered a Bure uninvited while the guest was sleeping. There was a scuffle between this person and other staff as they were trying to calm the guy down. You get what you pay for at this resort. Next time we will pay more to stay somewhere nicer.

The place was ok, but needs a revamp. Was told that this use to be one of the better places to stay

Most of the Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms some days weren't cleaned very well. It is in need of a revamp. Bed was not changed in the 7 days we stayed there.They need to look at the small things that make a big impact, eg a toaster that works at breakfast, when you have maybe 100 people going through for breakfast and a toaster that can't even toast the bread after putting it through at least 12 times, and then replacing it with a every day toaster that was just as bad. We had a couple of bad days with weather( not their fault)' but there wasn't much to do on these days ,for guess, why not have a quiz game where the guess make up teams, and maybe the winners could get a free meal??? As I say it is the small things that can make a big difference. Maybe add different items in the breakfast menu.

The pool area was very dated. Need more coffee cups & plates - had to wait for them at breakfast time. Lovely place just needs a bit of a makeover.

nice start to the week in fiji. Perfect for kids but could use some easy improvements for the adults

-The pool was clean and was good temperature. It had daily activites such as volleyball, aqua aerobics, and scuba diving practise. -You could use all the facilities for free which were at a high standard. -The rooms were all private and separate (except joint along one other room) which gave more privacy rather than one big block of rooms. -Very helpful tour desk. -Very cheap happy hour and good games! - Kids ate for free -Comfortable chairs and hammocks :) -Close to villages to experience the real fiji! - Options for Vegetarians -Live stage every night -Cleaning ladies did a really good job!

-Although the kids ate free and there food was good from what we saw, the food for adults were lacking some quality. The menu changed almost every day which made it hard for the chefs to really nail specific meals. Needed more flavour in a lot of the meals and most of the food seemed to come from a packet but the prices were still quite high for the quality. - The mini golf area was almost unplayable as it was pure cracked concrete so the ball would just bounce off and out and one of the stages had a fallen tree on it. -Needs More seating around the pool side -Internet was very slow, only lasted one day for one device only. -Adults couldn't use the slide :( - Although they had a vegetarian menu which helped me so much, the meals were very bland, very few ingredients and nothing had been home made. Very nice options just needs a bit of work on the meals themselves.

A big disappointment all round.

The beach & the cleaning staff.

The food in the restaurant was not up to standard for the money. In particular, the grilled T-bone steaks were like charcoal & burnt cardboard for Fj$ 42 each. However, the Mongolian barbecue wasn't too bad.

The bungalows are really nice, clean & tidy and minimalistic. The gardens and views are lovely. The snorkeling is really good.

Could do with some maintenance. The restaurants were very average, as was the food. These areas along with the pool area could do with some reno.

The staff were amazing right down to the gardeners. Una our house maid made our stay perfect. The grounds were kept to perfection, the snorkelling was amazing.Breakfast was great and plenty of it. The $2 bus into Sigatoka was great.

The best part of The Fiji Hideaway is the staff. They are very friendly and many of them knew our names from day 1. The pool and its slide for kids is fantastic. The position, right of the Coral Coast beach makes it very easy for snorkelling. The breakfast included in the room price was very good and filling. The omlette/poached egg maker was very quick and efficient. The bacon was better than some 5* hotels we have stayed. We loved the Quick bite Cafe overlooking the beach, which provided very quick and cheap lunchtime snacks. The evening entertainment was very good too. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved it and took part every evening.

Fabulous Staff. Staff were so beautiful and very friendly, especially activities staff whose enthusiasm for all activities was infectious. There are lots of fun activities every day or relaxation for those who prefer.
